Has anyone heard of or tried an oil from a company called Southwestern Petroleum Corporation (SWEPCO)? They are out of Houston Texas and been making oil since the 1930's.

I don't know about any of their other products, but for years "Swepco 201" was the only stuff Porsche 911 owners used in their transmissions (transaxles). With those cars, it's kind of hard to care how much your oil costs. It really did make a noticeable difference when you changed your tranny oil. It wasn't cheap 15 years ago, but since there are so many other synthetics out now, I'd bet it's comparable.

As always, as long as it's clean and there's plenty of it, you'll probably be just fine with (fill in the blank) oil.
