I recently built a turbo master for my rig. I notice that boost seems to climb up under WFO and then fall back just a bit (2psi), I am curious if this is typical of them? I am wanting to raise the boost level a little more since I am still getting a touch of black smoke with it. I am thinking I will allow it to boost to 12psi momentarily before it backs down a bit. I have not ran into a limp mode condition as of yet.

Must admit, truck does a whole lot better on the road now. Seems to get up to speed with no effort now. Still not a "race" truck though. More like a turd really but it is growing on me.

I,m surprised you still have black smoke if you are boosting more than 8psi with a stock program,. maybe check your air filter etc,. could possibly need new injectors,.

I'm pretty sure you still can't run over 10 psi in the 94-95 trucks on stock programming. Since the computer still reads boost.

mines a 95 and before i put on the boost fooler it would defuel if it went above 12 psi. also it would defuel accelerating uphill with about 8 psi at around 40 to 45 MPH. must be something with the computer. I'm still getting 15 MPG in town, which i'm disappionted about. but i guess i can expect that with 4.10 gears.
