Have you changed the fuel filter? Open bleeder on the fuel filter housing and prime. If clear fluid is present then close and pump till hard.I have on occasion ended up with air on the clean side and a no start.

Other than that a Tech II for diagnostics would be the next step.

Good luck

I have tried that it doen`t seem to be pumping any fuel up to the filter.

Did you open the bleeder and make sure there is fuel in the tank?

xtremfun007,

Do you have anything aftermarket on your truck? Give us your setup so we may better assist you.

If you are completely stock on the fuel system (no secondary filtration, etc.), the only "lift" pump is the one you operate with the palm of you hand on top of the filter.

Thanks for the reply.

Its bone stock , So I guess the only other thing it can be is the injection pump, what do you think? Thanks again for the help.Is there a way I can test the pump to be 100% ,That it`s the pump?

It is unclear from your post. When you bled the system ( pump by hand till only fuel comes out of bleeder ) did that work? After you tried to start, did you bleed again and get air? It took a few tries and it would star then die when I ran out of fuel. If you think no fuel is getting to the filter, priming is the first step.

Thanks again for the help.Is there a way I can test the pump to be 100% ,That it`s the pump? There are many more things it could be before the injection pump. A Tech2 is needed. Make sure to check all fuses first.
