I just found my rear main seal leaking, and I have a big fishing tourny, next weekend. I was wondering about how long my truck should be in the shop for this fix?

I'd wait till after if its not drastic, mine took just over 4 days.

I still doubt these are rear main leaks. Too many turbo inlet pipe leaks and turbo return line leaks that drip down the flywheel housing get mistaken for a rear main seal leak.

It can be done in less than a day.

Mine was a rear main leak for sure - 2nd try they got it right, and it took 4 days each time. Had to drop the tranny to get to it.
