I know you guys will prob think I'm crazy but I'm gonna be doin alot of towing in the near future and the load ratings are better with 35's plus they are alot cheaper. I'd like to see some pics of anyone with this setup. I was thinking about dropping to 7" and just gettin deavers on the rear? would I need a degree shim with 6" deavers? I have 5.5" blocks now and they suck.

I had 7-9 Cognito in past and towed 26' enclosed car trailer on both 35 & 37' toyo M/T. I did not have much difference in way truck handled trailer except for power since I did not regear. I do have to offer personal opinion that wiht 20" rim and 35" tire the truck was planted rock solid on the highway making the trailer follow the straight and narrow. Nick sent me the 2.5 degree shim with my 6" Deaver springs and I would also suggest set of airbags to make varing loads not effect truck as much.

Go to Nor Cal Trucks and Check out the Pictures Nick has on there Very nice!!!!
Click on the Cognito then 7-9 to see the picts
It shows the 7-9 compared to another lift i think it was CST or one of those and the CV angles Looked awesome,If I keep this truck I plan to go with the 7-9 set on 7 with 35's I think thats the best set up around....

when you guys say you are running your cognito 7-9 kit at 7, does that mean your torsion keys are cranked as low as they can possibly go or what?

They are basically set at the factory height to where those yellow rubber stops are touching the lower control arm giving you a nice factory ride.
