i have a 05 duramax i don,t know if im missing something or my high idle don't work how do i set it on ? can't find it in manual thanx in advance.

i have had the exact same issue, and i cant find it in the manual either.......

mine works on steering controls. but even turned on has to be about 30 deg to work

What you are referring to is the cold weather high idle. You are corrrect, seceral factors must be in place including outside temp and coolant temp.

There is however, a simple mod that can be found on this site by searching to add manually controlled high idle (via the cruise control buttons) utilizing the PTO circuit. All you need is a wire and a connector and about 30 minutes.

I bought a kit from BD Power. It was 20 bucks. I told them I wanted for an 05 LLY. They sent one in a package that said 01-04 LB7. I chicken out so I sold it. It did work real good on the lb7 we put it on. If you find one for lly let me know.
