:confused: i seem in the process of swaping motors lost the main power eire to my starter to power up the truck can anyone tell me what color wires are running to the starters of your trucks mine is a 1994 one ton 6.5 turbo any help would be graet thank you also any place i can get good wire diags for this truck all data dont even help lol:lol: any help thank you guys

the wire on the 93 was purple. came off the main loom at the very rear and ran to the drivers side firewall. where it came off the loom it wasnt very long and went straight down to the starter.

ok thanks so its just one wire? and the battery cable. after hooking all this up its like some of the things are not working correctly like i have missed a main power wire tha motor turns over just missing a few things like the radio heater works funny the blower motor things like that

yes, just one w/ batt cable. i can take a pic tomorrow if you like. ive been lucky so far, no gremlins have showed up yet. only thing that needed work was the engine.

I believe purple with white stripe is correct for 94 also. The purple wire also goes to the lift pump relay to trigger Lift pump during cranking
