Just curious if anyone made a prebent, offset pipe to put in place of muffler. Seems like everyone in my town can only bend up to 3". seems like a lot of messin around to build one myself. Any suggestions?

Need to call around more. 3.5" is a common size.

or you can find some muffler deletes on ebay.
if you want it locally, you can find someone locally that deals with 3.5" and up. the benders aren't cheap.

where r u located?

if you want to leave the 3.5" in, you can cut a section of 4", cut the welds off the inlet and outlets with a torch and weld the heck out of the 4" in place without having to bend it. you'll have to weld alot in order to close the gaps on both sides. takes a little more time, but no bending involved.

I was able to get my muffler to go by by, with just a 4" piece of pipe,,, no bending needed. Of course that was on a 4" exhuast kit, front to back. I got the pipe for my truck from a place called muffler tech, just a straight piece of pipe, nothing special. If you have a local diesel performance shop, try giving them a call, I bet they have some 3.5" pipe and 4" pipe pieces just lying around.

I ran into the same problem. The local muffler shops could only bend up to 3 inch so I ran 4 inch from the downpipe to the rear axel. Then had ran dual 3 inch from the axel back to get a dual exhaust look. Does having dual 3 inch create less backpressure than one four inch. Did I hurt my egts by going with the 3 inch from axel back. I did get rid of the kitty and the muffler. Sounds awesome. 2000 rpms and up sounds like a big block gasser.

No, If you do some research, you will see that the straight 4inch will perform a bit better than the duals.
