My alli Can't seem to make up its mind, It seems to be finding neutral alot also. I just had it on the scan tool about 2 weeks ago and the tech said he cleared 2 codes both engine related. (can't remember what they were) I have not put more than 50 miles on the truck since then. Yesterday I had it out and noticed that it was not shifting right and that it seems to like neutral. Any help Would be great. Thanks Mark

Had you written down the codes, that would help. I guess I'd start by looking at the air intake and MAF sensor first. I'd also be certain that the programming updates to the ECM and TCM were done and look at putting a stock air box w/o snorkels to see what happens.

Need to scan it again and post some codes here so we can help. Being that it's an '01, you are overdue for a new NSBU switch. That would be my first move.

Thanks for the replies! I did some research on the NSBU and my dash indicator also flashed yesterday but it quit and all was fine. I guess it is the switch. I will try to get it back on the scan tool tonight and see if there are anymore codes. How will I know if the programing is up to date, I bought the truck used. I do remember that one of the codes was something about incorrect boost levels and the map sensor. Should I reset my taps? I also found a thread that says the switch is a warranty item is this true? Thanks http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27740&highlight=nsbu

I went to the dealer last night and they said thet they need to research it. He said that they need more info, I need to provide the TSB number. It is amazing how we can have more info than someone that works at the Stealership everyday! He was suppose to call me back today and let me know if they were going to warranty the part. Still havent heard from them!

I had my truck back on the scanner and there are no codes, engine or tranny. Would it help to reset the taps? Still no word from the dealer. I guess I'm gonna have to stay on them. Thanks

Update... I spoke with a different dealer to day and he said that the emission warranty only applies to vehicles that are registered in states that have adopted the California emissions program. Cali,NY,CT,VT etc.. not sure who else falls into this category but this is what I got so far.. First dealer is still looking into it.. Keeping my fingers crossed
