Well i have had my truck for 1 month now and i already have 5600 miles on it After about the first week i noticied i had the infamous oil leak on the bell housing which by the way seems to be getting worse. I have not had time to take it in because of work(trying to pay for this thing)well i caught a free day yesterday and made the dreaded trip. After sitting at the dealership for 4 hours the service manager comes to me and says that they put dye in it and to bring it back but that it was prob. residual oil left from assembly. So can someone tell me if there is a tsb on this it may save my bloodpressure when i go back. And to anyone with a new truck you may want to check your rear diff oil i serviced mine for the first time this weekend and mine had 1 quart in it.

Mine has been in twice for leaks and is now leaking in the same area. Had upper and lower pan seal replaced and oil drain plug gasket replaced. I told them to check turbo inlet for leaks but they know so much better, BS. Going to bring in Monday and have dye put in again and BITCH. Truck has just over 20K miles. Want to keep warranty or would go with PCV reroute. May still do that if no help. Question, does oil come out of reroute tubes? Anyone

Mine went in last week for a few small warranty items....one of which was an oil drip...they said a clamp on the turbo was loose and they tightened it....I will be watching for more drips closely...

Did mine. I have one tow for about 300 miles and about 1000 miles total on it since it was done and no oil whatsoever. Not even any at the inlet end at the valve cover.

Go through and tighten up all of your boot clamps. The most important is the one just before the turbo intake. All of mine were loose and no more leak since then, 20K ago.

LMMKING, I sent you a PM with some questions. You have a great answer and result. Rather do it myself, screw the dealer, don't know what there doing half the time where I live.
