I have decided to go the diesel route in my boat and am after 2 Duramax engines. There are plenty of 6.2L and 6.5L available new, but cannot find the newer Duramax. I have contacted GM and they do not sell them as crate engines. Any ideas on where I could look. I really would prefer new because I need a matched pair and relaibility is very important.

Ebay. If there isn't one right now, there will be soon. I see them all the time there. There was on '05 Cummins on there the other day, only had 2 miles on it! Would like to know the story on that one.

The deal with the '05 Cummins is if a shipment of trucks gets damaged (rail car wreck, ect.) they buy the whole shipment then sell the new engines, trannies ect.
