I'm calling my local stealership in a little bit and going to see what they'll do about my trucks belt or pulley squealing like a pig.... does anybody know if there is a tsb about that? I've read on here people had to have one of the pulleys shimmed...

I was also going to get them to update the program on my computer. Or at least make sure it has been done (the starter issue that ive heard people talk about on here). Is there a TSB for that also?? I want to have these numbers when I go in there so I can say hey, look jackass.... Fix this and this and don't touch the rest....

Thanks.

Just talked to the dealership and the service guy told me a new belt was considered maintenance and I'd have to pay for it.... in 140k, the belt on my s10 is golden. 27k on a truck that costs 3 times as much, and we wont replace the belt.... and its 87 bucks in the service dept.

the parts guy did say the belt had this TSB attached to it. 07-06-01-003. Can someone post that up???

Thanks.

I had mine replaced under warranty but I only had about 2k miles on it.

Bad idler pully, it took two dealerships to figure mine out.

go to another dealer. my belt was replaced at 34k under warranty. A new goodyear gatorback belt is what finally fixed mine after all the shims/belts/adjustments.
