What's everyone using for this application? I'm using 5/8" heater hose. I have read that this will fail. Is this true? Is fuel hose better?

Heater hose will not stand up to petroleum products, but it would probably last a few years, I used low pressure hydraulic hose.

x2 on the hydraulic hose, the coolant hose will eventually get soft and mushy.
