Ole,some states will pass thru a DMV inquiry by you to an owner in the situation you have. Your idenity is passed to the current registered owner. Current owner can reply only if he wants to. I remember the 200k miles of service you got with that OVERLOADED truck!

It was a great truck! I thought for sure it would go at least 400-500k miles. A friend purchased from me and NEVER checked the oil. Broke my heart when he told me it was dead on the side of the road. Funny thing is that it's probably an easy fix. Unless you are going to rebuild the entire motor, I'll bet all it needs are some bearings. Those motors take a beating! It towed my 40' gooseneck with 2 cars inside from VA to AZ and back. I had pulled into a truckstop and got on the scales (24,300 lbs if I remember correctly), what a load! Good thing I did that because I got pulled over by OK. State Police who didn't believe I was under 24500.
