How do I go about finding a good Allison mechanic in the Fresno Ca area? What should I be looking for? I want to chip my truck and tow but dont want to kill my trannie.

Craig, call Diesel Technolgy ask of Gary or Bob, your best bet would be Valley Truck and ask for Jim East, I'm not sure if he still works there if not let me know he lives in Easton. All he does is rebuild trannys.

I spoke with Jim yesterday and he told me where to go for the tranny, as for the bed I forgot to call, if rains today again I'll have time to call. Call me later.

I live in Tucson, AZ but use Mike L. at Inglewood transmission. Only an 8 hour drive, but he is worth it.
