depends

if your electrical is upgraded and your amp is 2 ohm capable it will put out more power but sound quality suffers a bit

that amp looks fine to go 4 or 2 ohm, the fuse rating is 80 amps so make sure your electrical is in good condition, you might want to upgrade your alt if you havent already as I fell this amp will cause light dimming with the stock 105 amp alt..That is a nice looking amp.....

I have a Monster digital 1million farad cap i plan on using. I also just purchased a Alpine CDA9887 HU. Now I need sub and box suggestions. I have 2 Alpine Type-r 12s but I thinkg those are too big.

It's gonna be tough to get 2 12's in, but do-able if you don't mind a lot of modification. It's hard to get the air space and mounting depth that most 12's call for.

I think I will go with 2 10s or triple 8s? What you think? I cant find anyone who really makes 8s. I like Alpine and JL.

Now I just need to find a box that will fit them. I want to run Type-Rs or W3s

W3V3's are deep. Not sure if there is a prebuilt box that has enough mounting depth. But, W3's are sweet. I've got a JL 12W6 in a custom center console.

Ya so are Type-Rs. I wanted a bigger better speaker instead of a smaller cheaper one.

Small, quality subs can produce that big sound. My bro-in-law (wife's bro) had 3 of the JL 8W3v2's in his xcab Dodge truck run on a Linear Power 1752 (old skool). It frickin hammered in 2.5 cu ft, ported at 34 Hz. Sold that setup after buying his new Jeep. He's going with either a pair of 10W3v3's or a single 12W3v3. My other bro-in-law (sister's husband) has 2 JL 8W3v2's in his Peterbuilt run on a Linear Power 452i.

Bigger is not always better. Most of the time it causes more problems that it solves. Now, if you want to get radical, look at the Image Dynamics site at their Chevy CC install (http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/forum/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=user&user=4&op=view_album&album=38). Two different systems, 4 IDQ12's or 3 IDQ 15's behind the rear seat, but mucho mods. Those systems got loud as hell, but would not play the really low notes with any authority.

Monster Cable, Streetwires, Kicker, JL Audio, Stinger, Rockford Fosgate, Stinger, Sound Quest, Scosche, Power Acoustic, etc. And that's just to name a few of the more well known brands. There's a ton of them out there. Amazon link (http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1245072546/ref=sr_nr_n_2?ie=UTF8&rs=10981291&bbn=10981291&rnid=10981291&rh=n%3A281407%2Cn%3A10981291%2Cn%3A10981441). Be sure to get pure copper cable, with high strand count for better current carrying capability. If you're not worried about it being pretty, go to a welding supply place and get welding cable and terminals. Much cheaper, works just as well, just not pretty.

Monster Cable RCA's and Stinger wire/terminals/fusing used in mine. Got a buddy deal on mine or I would have used welding cable.
