what should the balance rates be reading on a good set of injectors when using the predator for scanning

tophog 05-02-2005, 10:32 PM I think the magic number is +/- 4.0 ...the closer to zero (0.0) the better. Over 4.0 is not a good thing ... I think the official GM "bad" spec is +/- 6.0 but I could be wrong ...if so I'm sure someone will correct me. Those are not your balance rates: Go to (IIRC) LIVE DIAGNOSTICS / ENGINE DATA 2 / then scroll down about 12 times until you see all 8 cylinders centered in the screen that say "balancing". The numbers will have mm after them. Those are your balance rates. One number for each cylinder. | ||
