Is the tank really that hard to install or am I over anylizing things?

If this is a replacement extra large tank then I see no problem other than the front strap that is added. Never seen the install but guessing there is one since the front portion extends under and in front of the fuel cooler. But basic dropping the tank it is a 3/8 and 1/2 fuel line disconnect tool, sockets and extension, and basic screwdriver and nut driver to remove the fill tube. Then a hammer and screw driver or chisel to remove the pickup assembly. Best with a second person to help and lower a fuel tank with fuel in it with a 2x12 between the tank straps and a floor jack. I jack up both driver side tires and place 5 to 6" blocking under them.

It is easy. Worst thing is the weight of the fuel. Closer to empty the better.

Another thing is they have $600 back in fuel over a 2 year period. May not be a bad time to install a bigger tank.

I already have it. I was thinking about having a shop install that and my Airdog 150 but they have been quoting me $800 - $1500. I rather do the tank myself and have them do the Airdog 150. Just scared I might jack something up is all. Thanks for the input.

It is a piece of cake to install the airdog 150 since you will have the tank down. It clamps to the frame rail with the provided hardware. Just make a drawing on which port is which and start installing. All the work is done under that area except running the power up to the battery. Can be connected to the terminal jumper block and grounded on the frame. The control fuse plugins into an existing fuse spot in the fuse box under the hood. Then that fuse plugs into the added fuse. Just pickup a 3/8 and 1/2 fuel line disconnect tools and your set. Took me like 4 hours to do it. Could go quicker next time since I know what to do now.
