I have a Kenwood KDC-X869 it came with the truck and it's not that old. Yesterday morning it worked fine but yesterday after I got off work the faceplate went half way down & stopped? I pushed a few buttons nothing happened so I pushed and held the reset for 5 sec. and then it came on. I had to reset all of my presets, bass, treble.... so on and so on. Anyways it did the same thing this morning so when I got to work I shut the truck off & waited about 1 min. then turned the key to acc. and it worked fine. Anyone had any trouble like this or have this model? I'll check and see if it does it again tonight.
I hate to have to replace it cuz I will want to upgrade to a head unit w/ DVD and that :cool2: stuff ):h and thats gonna be big $$$:(
Well thanks for any input!!!

Well now the Piece Of SCensoredt will not do any thing, but it still has power cuz the faceplate moves a little bit. I've tryed pushing the reset button and even unpluging the wire harness... Nothing  Anyone know anything about this??? If not I guess I'll have to buy a new one :(.
Also anyone have any suggestions on a new one? It must be mp3 and have at least 3 RCA outputs (one for the sub amp)
Thanks!!!
