Howdy guys, I recently put on a set of Michelin 265/75R16's...LTX's

Then I went and added a replacement steel bumper. I did not really think about it and find now that the front has sagged somewhat. How much, I don't know and would like to find out what that measurement might be so that I can crank my T bars to get it back to the stock heifght before I run into toe-in and other goofy tire wear issues....etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated and kindly let me know where you are measuring to.!!

Note: suspension is totally stock at this point.

Thanx muchly..!!

Not sure how much different your 06 would be, but my 07.5 was 38 to the top of the front wheel well prior to cranking. Your best bet would be to put a couple of turns in it until it gets the look you want, then get it aligned by a good shop. That way, you don't have to worry about it.

I wouldn't be too concerned. Most of the steel replacement bumpers are only 50 to 75 pounds heavier than the stock ones. That much weight isn't going to throw things off much at all.

If you do the math, each 200 lb passenger in the front seat puts 118 lb on the front axle. If the new bumper weighs 75 lb more than stock, that only adds 95 lb of weight onto the front axle - equivalent to a 160 lb passenger riding up front with you. GM doesn't spec getting an alignment for different numbers of passengers...

Just giving you another viewpoint.
