I know it hasn't been out long but has anyone purchased the PPE high flow intake for the LBZ and LMM? Curious if it made a big difference or any at all for that matter.

I wasn't aware PPE had an actual intake, all I knew about was their intake mod to the stock airbox. And that does work quite well.

I was picturing a CAI, this looks like it goes between the engine and the intercooler... Not sure how it would hook up though... You'd have to have a custom pipe from the intercooler to this piece, looks like it removes the intake air heater grid as well, interesting.

I'm not quite sure what all is involved since they don't have an online instalation guide and my truck isn't available for me to check out. guess I'll have to wait and see or be a text dummy...haha

I'd say spend your $650 elsewhere. That is ridiculously overpriced for a stock part with an elbow welded to it.

Looks like it goes in the intake between the manifolds. The stock one is highly restrictive and was discussed in the latest issue of Diesel Tech magazine or Maxxtorque.

Thanks, I did a few searches throughout the site and different forums and didn't turn anything up.
