Can anyone give me an idea of how much fluid it takes to do a deep pan drain and spin on filter change. I dont plan on doing a "Hoot" flush - but want a general idea of how much Transynd I will need for this.

I have been searching for about an hour - but guess I am not searching in the correct place

Thanks in Advance

3 gallons is what you want to have on hand. There are some that say because of the fluid in the pan that doesn't come out you may want to have more. I will be honest when I dropped my pan to install the deep pan I didn't see that much fluid in it but that doesn't mean its not holding a qt or two on your truck. I say buy 4 gallons and do your transfer case while you are there you are sure to have a qt or so left over and you will have the job done!

My tranny coverter and pan combined hold 22qts but that would be a complete flush

3 gallons will cover a deep pan drain and fill if you don't drop the pan. I bought a 5 gal pail and have 2 gal left over.

Buy 4 to be safe as was recommended.
