Guys I noticed yesterday my OP gauge is acting strange. Kind of shaking around from 40 to 60 psi under load and 25 to 40 at idle. I'd like to get a mechancial gauge on there. Is there an easy place to pull oil pressure from on these motors? And where is the sender for OP gauge so I can check that also?

In the IP valley, near the #7 intake runner. You have to remove the turbo power cover and possibly the fuel filter housing, not enough room for the OPS wrench to fit there.

On your 2000 you need to remove the turbo power cover and remove the two bolts that hold the fuel filter to the intake and push it towards the back of the truck. The OPS is under the fuel filter just off to the drivers side of the valley. The ops threads in with npt threads so that might be a good place to add a "T" to connect to a mechanical gauge.
