Just pickup up a new GM 2500HD and I'm looking for a remote start for it. Has anyone found a good 2 way FM unit that works well with the existing keyless entry system?

You can have just about any of the aftermarket remote starts interface with your keyless entry. It is just a matter of wiring it in. It most likely will cost more since there is usually a module that you have to purchase so you can interface with the door locks and security system in the vehicle. There are many good ones out there. Right now I have a clifford (see signature). I had the astrostart on my last truck and really liked it too. Either one you can't go wrong with.


I just noticed that you are in fairbanks. (I'm at Eielson AFB) You get your truck from Aurora? If you did, go back to talk to your salesman about getting a discount ticket for Audio advisors. I got my clifford installed for about 150 less than what Auto trim design would install one for.

I have the Autopage 855LCD and absolutely love it! It has all the bells and whistles. I can start it or tell the temperature outside from about 3/4 mile, realistically. Do the research, it pays off.
