I was wandering how much weight you can hang on the front of the Duramax without breaking front CVs. I see Dodges hanging 1500 on the front, but have heard 400 is alot on the IFS. Just wandering because i will finally be at a pull where i can hang weight in my class- THANKS Steven

As much as you can! I have seen some guys hang over 1500 on some of the regular cabs.

Hang as much as you can. CVs break more often from boosting too much, not too much weight IMO. We've had as much as 1500 on the front with no issues like Bubba said. my CCSB I regularly had 8-900 on it.

THANKS- i was just curious because i dont have any experience with hanging weight, didnt want to do anything overkill on the front end. I will have all 800 lbs up there then -Steven

I actually have quite a few pulls on the schedule- Mason Dixon this weekend( i think i can hang weight here), then the Buck on June 13(no weight), then at Pro Diesel Challenge in North Carolina on June 20( not sure of there rules for weight), then Lebanon on July 11, then Cecil County Fair july 28( I know i can hang weight here!), then the Buck again on August 1. There are a few others that i dont have the dates on right now- like Lebanons other pulls- i think they have oneJuly 24, and Mason Dixon Fair, and there are more i am forgetting. -Steven

Lebanon pulls usually start at 6, here is the link, it doesn't list june events but I know they have them. They have 5 or 6 pulls a year there.

It is supposed to rain all day today- I wont make it up to Walnutport. As for the sled to watch out for- the Rebel Sled is bad for breaking at [B]every[B] pull. I may ride up to see what it looks like tomorrow- its only 30 minute from me. -Steven

I'm not going to Walnutport either, rain changed my mind.

I'd like to go tomorrow, if you can, please post up what you find out about the sled. Thanks
