This is my 2001 with 150k miles, it is shaking worse and worse at 40 to 60 mph. I think it may be the lower ball joints but want to check. How do I tell it the ball joints are bad?
Today the check 4wheel drive also poped on for a second after I startyed it.

OK, I put a bar under the wheel and pry(ed). Both right and left felt solid. The passenger side cv axel shaft had play in it. Both seals on the front differtial are leaking b ut the shafts didn't seem to move or have play in them.
Would a bad axel shaft make the truck vibrate abd shake at 40-60 intermittenly?
