im getting rid of the wheels i had and im gonna change it up, but im finding it hard to decide between a set of chrome wheels or a nice set of black ones.... can you guys chime in your opinnions or even post some pics of both set ups... thanks a bunch.

my honest opinion,, i think crhome or black looks good on a white truck. if you choose chrome wheels, get a lot of chrome accessories to make the wheels fit in. black, keep everything white.

well i had the chrome 20's on before and i liked the look. i have a black tool box and bad caps too.

Black wheels would look better than chrome IMO.

No offense but I have never been a fan of chrome. I had it on my 2000 silverado 1500 looks amazing clean dirty wasn't bad but I really like the blacked out look on any truck. Id rather have black windows black taillights and tinted headlights with black wheels than chrome door handles chrome mirror covers and chrome wheels. And black doesnt show the scratches and its dirty doesn't look as dirty as chrome. I want to get a green or maroon 03 duramax when my truck sells black the windows and get monster XDs or powder coat some H2 wheels.

im all for black too, since you have a black tool box, black bed rail caps, tinted windows and you go with black wheels, the black acessories you have will make the black wheels pop.

no no, dont get too crazy with the chrome, when i meant get a bunch of chrome accessories i meant like door handles, grille, bed rail caps. little accents...

One thing to consider. Chrome on white is timeless in our hot rod community. Black on white is the current trend and its hard to say how long it will be popular. Either way, its your truck, do what you like. Both look good!

IMO, stay far away from the tacky chrome accessories, they just look bad.

I am with him either all stock with black or chrome with the flashy stuff :)

With the front of my truck having the chrome factory bumper, and doors handles, I elected to go chrome and have been happy with it.

not a bad choice, now put a billet grille on it and that would set it off.

I went with black on mine and have no regrets at all. The pictures in my garage still show chrome accessories on the truck which I've removed. I don't think I'll ever buy a chrome rim again no matter whats in "style".

ahh, the dually rockstars, i had those on my truck, sold them about 2 months ago. the really made the truck

I like the balck the chrome is just to flashy and i dont like it as much. You could get a black wheel with a little bit of chrome in it XD makes quite a few like that My dad just bought the XD thugs for his truck should be coming soon im loooking forward to it.:D
