for the tranny before it craps out. i got edge w/ ***., exhaust, and intake. ive only ran on 5 about 3 times. i know it wont be to long:(

Where do you run it daily? I've got about 20,000miles on mine running juice/*** and 1/2 of it stacked with the predator. My tranny is just about done for an will be getting a refresh in may. Trans fluid is dark and smells burnt. I knew I was going to do an upgrade anyways so I didn't go easy on it.

i do about a 30 mile round trip but i usually just drive on 3. every once in a while getin a heavy foot

Idryfly5- well, i got 'tts',i could honestly say,approx.15 times on 120hp.. i ran it on 80 hp for aprrox. 5 months,it would limp on the frwy.. now as we speek, its getting a 'tts' converter/ats cluthes..i see no futher poblems!!!!! good luck

I am a new diesel owner and am unsure about this "limp" mode I have heard about. Is it a noticable issue? sorry for sounding stupid but I am just not sure.

Is it a noticable issue? sorry for sounding stupid but I am just not sure.The allision will do this to protect it self when it is pounded on. It goes into "limp mode" to protect itself from totally frying itself...it will allow you to get off the road or home safely. You shouldn't have to worry about it unless you plan on horse power upgrades. People upgrade there torque converter and clutch packs when adding performance mods to prevent this from happening. You'll be fine. It will take a fair amount of abuse at those power levels.

i had about 40000 miles on my alli. i ran the hj stacked with the predator you just have to be careful in fifth. when i got my tranny done the guy showed me that there was only a few burn marks on the c-2 clutches and everything else looked fine.
