Hi, I'm getting ready to do my head Gaskets on my 98 Chevy 6.5L, I was wondering what repair manual you guys would recomend using? Also what Gaskets would you recomend going with? thanks

GM manual is the best but pricy, if you plan on keeping this truck for any period of time, I highly recommend that one www.helminc.com (http://www.helminc.com/) also gotten on ebay alldata on the web is another route for most manual needs

Do us a favor take a stroll through welcome notes and FAQs update your sigline and it will help as well.

Those are OBDI manuals he really should get a set of OBDII closer to his model year

Yes engine stuff will be the same, but the stuff that causes the most problems, the "trons" won't be the same. Torque specs and engine generic engine stuff can be found in Chiltons, at any library for free or loaner copy at some auto parts stores, or All data online.
