I was wondering if there was another way to put a lope tune on my truck without EFI? Maybe just to have on a switch to turn it on and off.

might be stupid, but whats the point of lopey idle?

Maybe screw with the fuel pressure regulator, but my guess is it would be way to hard to get consistent results, and it would always be there with no way to shut it off unless you changed the regulator. Or have a custom ECM built by somebody that has EFI, sounds kind of expensive for just a lope tune though.

Yea I think that route would be expensive. If I wanted it that bad I would just get efi. I am planning on getting efi in the future so if I just wanted a lope tune I could do it then. Nothing I need, just something that I had wondered about.

Do not change fuel filter or air filter for several years = lopey idle

Add water to fuel = lopey idle

:)

I don't think he would have an idle at all with that combination.

find a guy who has efi, buy a license, buy said guy a beer and have him add it to you tune!
