After bending John Hamlin's ear (Thank you, Thank you, Thank you) at Diesel Performance Shops (www.dpsdirect.com (http://www.dpsdirect.com/)). I ordered an Edge EZ module and MBRP Exhaust last week. We needed something that was pretty simple to adjust on the fly when towing our fifth wheel. The Juice module just seemed like a waste when all I really needed was a modest boost to pull with. The parts came this week and I just put them on my truck.<o:p></o:p>
All I can say is WOWhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif ! The power and performance boost using just level 1 on the module was unbelievable. I had just as much get up and go as the GMC Yukon XL Denali I traded on the dually. You almost don't notice the exhaust is even there when driving which was a big factor in our choice. <o:p></o:p>
Not a scientific study but I saw an increase of 3 MPG after adding everything on a trip around town and on the highway for about 20 miles each way. Averaged 18.7 MPG for 75 miles and was getting 20-22 MPG (flat here) at 70 MPH on the highway. I cannot wait to pull the fifth wheel this coming weekend just to see the difference. Since it is mostly flat around here Level 1 ought to do just fine.<o:p></o:p>
On a side note, it took me three hours to install the exhaust and Edge EZ. Two and a half hours were spent on the exhaust. Most of that time was because I am toolbox challenged. I had to jack up side of the truck to get out the factory exhaust because I didn't have a hack saw blade for stainless steel. And a word of wisdom to anyone adding an MBRP Exhaust, make sure you have a 15mm deep well socket on hand before starting this.
