I have a 04 2500hd extended cab short bed lly duramax and I have been to the dealer for a good amount of problems already.There are some aditional problems that are happening at random#1 the srs light comes on while driving,blinks once and shuts off (happens usually twice a week).I was driving home from work and the security and battery lights came on along with the oil psi,fuel gauge,and voltmeter went down to nothing,and two weeks ago I hit a pothole while driving under slight acceleration and the abs & brake light came on along with the warning chime.The dealer had done a update for the service 4wd light along with calling GM tech.support and cleaning a ground wire the last time for warranty work.Any info would be great.The truck is not even 1 year old yet .I thought buying new would eleminate these problems. Thanks in advance for any info.:(

Thanks for the response.I am bringing the truck back to the dealer for the 5th time.I thought I was buying a new truck.I have had less problems with $1500 dollar vehicles.

Does suck to have problems with new vehicles. The real problem they are going to have is the frequency that it happens, going to be hard to find it.

I just got my truck back Thursday.After talking to the dealer he said all of the problems(nine lost communication codes)was caused by the aftermarket remote start.Now he told me that Gm would not pay him for his time and that I owed him $120.00 .Talk about getting it from both ends.I am going to the company that installed the remote start to have it removed and we will see what happens from there.
