Couldn't see that right hand column at work. That site's going to give a lot of people problems I'm afraid.

The only difference according to that between the Stage V and the Extreme is "Numerous Proprietary Components." I wonder what else you get for that extra $1400?

I can't imagine too many people getting upgraded when their current application is doing the job for them.

we'll see what happens when the aftermarket cp3s become common, maybe ill bite the bullet when it comes time for me. $1300 more than what i was planning on paying, but i guess doing it once is worth it.

old level 5s were promised unlimited hp at least i know 1 that was promised that so why buy more ,for those that have the 5s if thwey are not breaking then the upgrades will not be needed..

I think the trend is to sway away from the Unlimited holding capacity verbage.I know I was told Unlimited also from Suncoast,twice.

For that price it should comes installed):h!!! Having seen the internals of an Allison I'd say that there's only so much that can be done, i.e., more/better frictions & steels, valve body mods etc, the basic components will still be the same.

Perhaps they've re-engineered the C1/C2 pistons as previously done by others? When we learn of the "proprietary components" we'll have more of an idea of just what they're offering.

As for me I'm saving for a Suncoast, proven product and IMO most bang for $.

I'll second that....prices keep coming down on the Suncoast and I don't think it's because of any failure rate. The fastest Dmax on the planet has one and that's enough for me;) .

i just wondered if any one knows what the line pressure is on the cooler lines. i put a b&m tranny cooler on mine and had to splice the lines. after about 150 miles the splice blew apart and left me setting on the side of the road.
