UPS just dropped off my shocks and I have a question about the rear shocks. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 HD 4wd crew cab long bed with the duramax. I have the torsion bars cranked to level and it appears I received the correct shock for that application. Part #BE5-D146-HO. The rear end is at stock height. The rear shocks I received are part #BE5-6647-H1. On the box they say it's for a 1994 Dodge Ram with a 6in. lift. I thought I would receive part #BE5-D147-HO for the rear. Does any one know if these are the correct shocks for my application? These are the zinc coated shocks. Once again thanks for your responses.

Mine were the same way, if you lay them side by side they are the same length.
Hope this helps!

I was talking with a Bilstein rep at a truck event about the same thing. He said what happens is the retailers find a shock that has the correct length for what they want to do and may end up putting a Dodge shock on a Chev. It was also his reason for the bottom mount rubber needing trimming to fit my Chev.

You have the same part numbers front and rear as I received from Nor-Cal Truck. Install went fine and I didn't have to trim the rubber mount on mine like was mentioned by prostar. Do not cut the straps off the rears until you get them installed as they are much stiffer than the stock shocks and are difficult to compress.
