I slipped my tranny today for the 3rd time int he 05 LLY and for some reason I cannot get it to reset with the Diablo Tuner! Last time I reset it just fine and the light on the dash went out now either I am just screwing this whole procedure up in which is pretty straight forward or is it possible to do further damage this time I slipped the tranny that the light will not go out?? bad solenoid?

Uh the Diablo Predator will not reset trans codes... It wont even read nothing more than the generic trans code of P0700... Normaly with a limped trans you can get it to reset by simply turning the key off for a min or so and restart with no CEL but the code is still in the history of the ECU not the current code section...
You may indeed have another problem now with the trans...? Might want to get to someone that has a code scanner than can read trans codes like a Tech 2 or OTC Genisis or something of that nature...?

I have already reset the trans by cycling the key and yes the code I have is the P0700. I am trying to get the engine light to to turn off on the dash and it seems last time I was able to do this with the scanner but you are saying this is not possible?

Ok thanks I will try driving it to see if the light goes away! Will a trans go jr. help my situation? I can only imagine how much a performance rebuild would cost!

You'll have to get an Equus code scanner if you want to see what the trans code is. I picked one up before I bought my Pred and it came in handy when I had my #2&7 injector tails went.

Pred will read injector codes.
