Brief story...
I have a 05 2500HD 6.0 Gasser. ( i know buy a diesel).. I have the after market keys cranked 2 inches and 1.5 inch blocks in ther rear with airbags and bilstien 5100. 285's on 16x8..
The other day i was doing some offroading on some long dirt roads going about 40mph or so then hit a section of whoops and after the 3rd whoop the truck launched in the air, yes if came off the ground i would say a couple feet in the air, HOLY CRAP.... But actually it landed so smooth no bounce at all.. so the next day i here a clinking clunk sound up front , its not repetitive so its not in the drive line, ( i think) but when i first give it gas of when i first apply the breaks... When i crawled under the truck and look nothing was loose at all, BUT i noticed the Torsion Bar adjustment Bolt was bent between the key itself and the adjustment nut. WTF. could this be making my clunk sound? i know i need to replace this right away. is this a GM only bolt (part) or Napa maybe.. is it bad to keep driving like this it seems to ride just fine,,, anyone have a part number maybe,, Thanks for your time and sorry for the long post,,,, I wont be launching over any whoops anymore...
