What would some stock trans slip % numbers be? I am monitoring via Banks PDA. It seems the faster you go after lockup the more it slips. I am only seeing about 15% is this normal?

Unsure on the slip as a percentage. Normally under EFILive or a DashHawk II you have it as rpm. he test is be in tow/haul and floor it. there will be plenty of slip 1st but after that 2nd on up there should be less than 200 rpm difference on the torque converter. Pretty much need to know the rpm at the time and take the percentage value against it to get an rpm value. That is the way I see it. From what I have read here under 200 rpm and transmission should still be good. So say your 2000 rpm and see 10% then you are at 200rpm.

If actually RPM then on mine I normally see -1 to 4 max lock converter on flat land driving.

On the banks pda anything below 30 is just considered noise. Each truck is different. You start to do some wear at 35ish. 100 is a limp or close to one.

I have the Edge and it shows in %. It usually goes back and forth between 0 and 1% when in lockup.

Edge removed the trans slip option on the newer truck because people were seeing the high percentage when doing what you were doing. If you see it that high during normal driving then I would worry.. so I do think that it is a problem...
