Speaking on the economy-

It's really that I am molding with the way things are. Trying new idea's and directions. The new building is more economical for what we see the strength of our business right now. For Nor-Cal it's better and for our customers it will be better aswell so we can provide great pricing and service that will keep us going threw the tough times. For the more local customers that have been using me even before Nor-Cal Truck they have seen alot of change in what my focus is on and now going into our 5th year of Nor-Cal I want to push hard with molding as much as possible. This buildings work space will help us do just that.

Yes these are the buildings next to the dirt lot we recently over the months have been shooting some of our truck builds. The building has large dirt lots on either side and I have a feeling that there might be a NCT RC dirt track soon in one of the lots ):h, and a lot that has some nice dirt mounds that we can twist up a truck on or take a SXS out to jump off of:D.

RC cars/trucks are actually making a slight come back around here. A couple local 4WD shops are doing the same thing, well have been for a while now but it is interesting to see guys that have RC trucks that look just like their current daily driver..

UpDate !!

Just got home and as of right now we have NO phone lines at all in the new shop due to a problem of the lines ran (new building) My guy that ran all the phone lines in the building had thought that the phone service company would run them into the building witch they do not or at least the guy was not wanting to:mad:. And to top it off my guy doing all the electric and phone lines is gone till tue/wed :banghead:. So anyone local know how to set up phone lines:). This all happened mid day so I was not able to start making calls yet to find someone.


Other wise it's going pretty good and I will be looking for a crew of people to help Fri night and Sat if anyone would like to help. Pizza, beer, soda and water on me:D. I will be the guy with the camel pack with rum & coke in it !!! :p:

I just realized, the new building awnings look like flipped shakles.

We have phone line as of a hour or so ago:). All our computers are getting set up (network together) and I hope to be working off all our new system sometime tomorrow, been checking off a lap top in between working on setting up the other things around here.

Guys please remember that I will get to any general PM's and Emails when time allows. If you have questions that are not so in need to be directed to me it may be faster to just start a thread. When back 100% I will be taking care of all current customers that need help and new customers that have waited patiently for me to be able to help them. Again sorry for any delays and we hope this step back will help us go further in our services very soon.

I've got a question/need some help with my truck. Still dealing with issues from the accident and I could use some help. There till 10:15 last night, 11 something the night before and I can't remember the night before that. Effin ROUTER :mad::mad:!!!!

The shop is up and running and Nick is playing catch up and probably will be for the next [-]week[/-] month. Once everything is 100% maybe I'll talk to Nick about posting a virtual tour of the new facility.

Good to hear the new place is coming together. Now if the new 4" NTB drop kit would get the bugs worked out, I would be happy! :D

That part was easy. Its the Netgear router that's causing the problems. I changed 1 setting the other day and crashed everything for a few hours. Nick was a bit :mad:.

Out of old shop - CHECK
Cleaned out all the crap we didn't need any longer - CHECK
Everything moved to the new shop - CHECK
Most all product put away and organized - CHECK
Wife all set up in her new office - CHECK
My office all set up - ALMOST, maybe by this weekend
Phone lines back up and taking calls - CHECK
Computers up and running - CHECK (Wed. I started drinking at about 1-2 pm when we lost our system and was dead in the water:banghead: ) Lost a order with all of a customers info and luckily I remembered his user name and we PM'ed him.
Shop wired to suite - NOT YET :( (Mon.-Tue.)
Shop plumb with air - NOT YET :( (Sat.)
Front show room door locked - CHECK ;)

Like any move we have the problems that pop up and it does get frustrating for you guys and for us as well. Really after all the bumps in the road we will be all smooth and I have been listening to alot of what people have been saying as for what they want and what makes them happen to use us for there product purchases. More info on our changes soon:).


I really want to say thanks to everyone that has lent a hand in the move and to the customers that have been very patient to the issue's we have had with dead phone lines and any other delay issue's.


Oh and first build in the new shop will be dropped off the end of next week, NBS Duramax !!! Cognito 7" with some nice 35's and 20's, few other goodies to go along with it as well. Common you think I was going to let a Ford or Dodge be our first truck build in the new building:D.

x2? The 5th was awhile ago.

Computers have been doing real good and no big issue's that have slowed us down.

Shop was finished with the add of a couple more big roof lights to really make it bright, we have outlets where needed to work and all the air line plumbing and compressor is in place as of this past tue. the 9th.

No show room yet and that will not happen for a few more weeks as I am making it more of a presentation area of product when people drop there trucks off more than a show room with "nic nac" stuff in it. I have closed all general walk in retail so a show room like that is not needed (more on that subject later:D).

First full build getting dropped off later today or tomorrow (LMM :ro))and really now i can sit down and see what all I have that needs to be fit into the work load...cough ... cough..."MIKE".

So when are the pics coming of the new shop...

When we start on the LMM build I will take some pic's and post.

LOL, no worries Nick. I understand moving shop is a difficult process to say the least. I'm In So Cal now for the summer, so I wont be able to do the gauges till August sometime. I will call you though next month to get everything g squared away for the lift In august.
