The aluminum rims on my 2500 HD are peeling. The clear coat is coming off and pitting from wheel weights. Took it to the dealership and they told me there was nothing they can do about it and they're not responsible for it.

I ran into a guy up there when I took my daughters car and he told me about this site and how he read something about that. Anyone know anything about this that could help me out? Is there a loophole you know of?

My truck is still under warrenty and everything.

Alcoa actually warrants them for 5 years, not GM......but your dealer should be able to do it for you. I don't have a link but will look.

Mine are to. Not even at the weights. I could understand it doing it at the weights, but not just on the lip for no reason.
