Wher do I get a GOOD new AC compressor at? I've heard of people having ALOT of problems with the "cheap" (that really isnt so cheap, lol) reman AC compressors from the parts store. There are a total of four different compressors. A delphi which doesnt have any notes that specifies if its new or reman, and is $260. There is the "cheap" one which is a reman for $180. Then there is a new one for $220, and a new "premium" one for $282. My luck, the one ill need is $282. To do the job right I need to flush all the lines, replace the front lines that bolt to the compressor, replace the compressor, all Orings, the drier, orifice tube(s?) and rear expansion valve. Sounds like a $600 job to me. Ouch! And thats doing it myself...
