Has anyone thought about installing the Nicktane fuel filter above the spare tire. I took my spare down and there is a lot of room up there, protected by the tire and the frame, and close to the fuel tank. The filter can also drop into the cavity of the spare tire if positioned correctly. I am not sure just how big or long this filter is, so was just curious. I do my 4-wheeling down a rocky road and worry about hitting the filter. The only drawback is when changing the filter, you have to lower the tire. Other than that, it seems like a perfect place. Any thoughts/?

i've never tried that. not sure if it would really fit or not. you would have to use more fuel line. i just don't see it fitting under there.
