I have a full ats tranny with co pilot and I was not told to keep the copilot off for the majority of the time and use it as needed instead of all the time. Well I kept it on for a long time after install and reduced my shift preasure and it is lagging between shifts when general driving and feels like it trys to race through the gears and jump from gear to gear not knowing which. They told me to clear the taps so brought it to the dealer....my dads best friend owns the dealership so he knows bout the upgraded stuff. But they are saying that it will not allow them to claer the taps....any thoughts on this so I can get this done??

turn the co-pilot off and leave it off. after a while your truck will learn itself back down. then when you want to use the copilot turn it on. then back off when you're done.

Tell them to clear the tap cells one at a time... little slow, but I've had to do that alot even on stock trucks. How are you setting the levels on the copilot? You can leave it off with the full trans and still push pretty high power without trouble. Just dont go 400 horse flat footing without the copilot.

The transmission is capable of holding the HP without the Co-Pilot is it not ?????

I am not trying to argue, just looking for the answer........as the Co-Pilot is somewhat of a mystery to us SUNCOAST guys....;)
