Hi guys. My dad broke his towing mirror on his 06 Chev LBZ CCSB. I am wondering...most of the damage is the wide angle (bottom) mirror (of course, the most used one:mad:). Can he replace just that little mirror, since it is separate from the top mirror or does he have to get the whole entire mirror assembly? He has the expensive ones...the ones with the heat and signal. I believe they list for around $400 a piece new from the stealer. If possible, he doesn't want to buy a whole new assembly. Here's a link to a pic of the style mirror that I'm talking about, just so we're all on the same page. This one does not have the turn signal though; that's the only difference.

Thanks for any help here!

Sweeeet. How does it come out/apart? Does the wide-angle mirror just pop in or is it a big job to change out?

I'll look at it and try a couple things and see if I can get it out...it can't get any more broken so why not!:D
Thanks!

The bottom mirror has a screw in the very center. To get it off break out the center of the mirror to access the screw, the replacement mirror will come with a new back piece that you screw on to replace the old, then the new mirror will stick onto that. I had to replace one on mine, when you get the replacement mirror, it will make sence.

That's good to know 400ex. I always knew they were replacable, but never knew how.
