gonna hook up to a sled and plan on decraning and strapping the front. Can I over decrank the Torsoni bars? Last thing I wanna do is break smoething or end up eating metal.

I would like to know as well. I leave my torsion bars cranked all the way down all year. Now i need to replace ball joints tie rod ends and pitman idler arm.

Are the trucks 4X4's? If so, I would say yes. You would create more angle on the CV's and that would make them weaker than if they where horizontal. On a 2x4, you would sit on your bumpstops and I it would ride pretty crappy, but other than more wear on the stops, I doubt it would hurt too much. The fact that the truck is bottomed out could start to make things crack (frame, suspension mounts etc) if you were to drive it around a lot like that. In anycase, your allignment will be off. This is more my opinion than expirence. So take it for what it's worth. Good luck.

nope in form us please. I got a GMC with 285's on stockers. I rub a tad at stock height. I can only imagine with the bolts right out and strapped :S

well, the "bolt washer trick" is ...have you t-bar bolts where you wont the (normal everyday driving) then take the bolts completely out and put washers on be the enough to fill up between the frame and end of the bold(the number of washers used of course depends on where and how far you will wont the bolts turned up) then go have it lined up! and on race/pull day you can lower you t-bolts all the way down, then after you can turn them back up to desired height till they hit the washers and your truck will be back up in the air and lined up...pretty sure i said that write

ill get some pics (a picture is better than explaining)

that's a pretty bad backorder. I use the washers. If you buy a box of M12 metric washers it will contain varying thicknesses by default so you can mix and match to achieve the correct height.
