Things went rather well with my first service. Filters came off easy, I didn't make too big of a mess and I only busted one knuckle in the process LOL.

I found all 11 grease fittings but was unable to get to one of them. The idler arm bell crank grease fitting has what looks to be a transmission cooling line right in front of it and I was afraid to push on it very hard to try to move it out of the way. Has anyone else ran into this issue also? I am either going to have to find a grease gun with a smaller end or put in a different grease fitting that has a 45 degree angle to it. I tried using my needle tip for my grease gun but that would not work either. Oh, I discovered that you have to turn the wheels slightly to get to the grease fittings on the lower ball joints. It may just be my grease gun too, it has a large end on it so I think if I can find one with a smaller end that will help.

How does the air filter come out? I took the cover off and could see the round filter. Do you just pull on it hard to get it to come out? I didn't do anything to it because it was clean and didn't need to be serviced at this time.

Thanks! :beerchug:

Yeah just have to wiggle it straight out and then upward. If your replacing just pull away on it. I myself go 20,000 before changing.

Crusher, Thanks for the info on the filter!!

Oh, I was able to pick up a fitting for my grease gun today. It is an end for your hose that allows you to slide the end on the grease zerk sideways. I had seen one of these before but was not sure if you could still get them.

Some people have put different angel zerks to make it easier. I have tried different fittings on the grease gun but ended up using the original and taking my time. It is a pain in the a** but can be done.
