Get some window screen from the hardware store and put it in front of the grill it works great and just pull it out and clean it..

I did this, and tied it with some zip ties.

I bought a universal bug screen from wally world. I believe it costs roughly $3. It has three elastic type strings on each side and one hook on each side. Works really good. Easy to put on and take off.

I've got one from Fia (same brand that Cabella's has), came as part of a set with a winter cover. Snaps on the outside, real easy to take on and off.

Simply pop off the top plastic radiator/grill cover and put the fiberglass screendoor screen in front of the radiator with a couple zip ties. bugs tend to roll off it on their own - helps darken all that aluminum colored stuff that really shows on a GMC anyway. I leave it in there year-round.

Those KD push-pin liers help when removing wheelwells or that shroud - see my garage for a pic of the pliers.
