This past winter the truck refused to start on a trip home from Florida. That started the qwest to get the injectors replaced as I know from reading this forum that they are the likely problem on a truck that has never given me a problem. Took it a different dealer that had a good rep. for working on the Duramax. They did the balance check and fuel pressurue check and the test all came back positive so they could not find the problem and although it hard started once while they had it they said they could not do anything under the warranty at the time. Took it home and drove it the next day, it failed to start so had it towed back to the dealer. When it came off the hook there were some trouble codes indicating a loss of communication with varies things. Turned the key and it started. They thought that they had found mouse activity under the fuse block located under the hood. Found a couple of wires chewed and thought they had found the problem. The service manager called and said he was going to drive it home and back before releasing it to me just to make sure. He did and when he got back to the dealer the next day and tried to start it before calling me it would not start. Did another deep fuel test and this time there was a very high return rate. So now they have replaced all injectors, changed the oil and oil filter as well at the fuel fiter (it was new because I changed it before taking it to the dealer the first time) all on GM's dime. The truck is starting like a new now and all I hope is well for a long time.

I guess part of the reason that I am writing this is I found a dealer that has worked with me from my first phone call to them and has done all they could to make me a happy camper. If you need work done on any vehicle in Northwest Michigan I can tell you to give Cross Roads Chevy in Reed City a shot. There is a good chance that like me you will feel you have found a dealer that tries!
