my stock keys on t-bar are cranked all the way. i have new bilsteins all 'round. i have read quite a bit of information on the effect to the down-travel. but, i can't seem to dig up old posts that say how to shim the shocks. should i shim top, bottom, both, or does it matter? how much to shim? how can i check on my truck how much to shim?

and finally.... is it necessary and why?

thx.

I shimmed the top with a 1 inch stack of washers. dave

thx. how much cranking did you have on your t-bar? how did you shim it? meaning.... can i just remove wheel, unbolt, and push down with my arms?

I turned them up 1.5 inch. Take the nut off the top of the shock pushem down and put the washers on no need to take the wheel off. dave
