Sorry if this has been hashed around before, new to site. Tried to put an edge version 1.2 on my 04 LLY and it will not work. Truck runs worse than stock and misses out. 5 calls to Edge and they say I need updates to my LLY for the EGR code that keeps coming up when the Edge is pluged in. They even sent me the bullitens for it, but my question is, Will this really change the way the Edge is acting? I have to admit my 02 Duramax pulled better than this one. Will the dealer really help with this update? By the way we even tried an earlier Edge version, I believe 4.something. Both with the attitude monitor installed and exhaust probe.

Where are you located....the re-flash cleared up my issues. Let us know where you are at...maybe a member can help you out!

front what I understand most have to get the lattest update from GM before most of these boxes will work. I wouldn't tell the dealer your getting it flashed because of your juice box. Just tell them you want the latest update on your ecm.

Could not get a Reflash. Dealer will not just do a Reflash unless EGR code is in there. And it was not when I went there, They just were getting Turbo codes and my guess thats from when we tried to hook up the Edge. I guess my truck will not accept an Edge. Will any thing else work?

try it with the attitude unhooked. I have talked to several people and the edge problems seemed to go away.

if that doesn't work, find another dealer that will reflash your truck. some dealers won't do it and others will. just make the phone calls.
