got the heads off... and no glow plugs. must have burned off, but they looked very broken. oh well, gave me a chance to check everything out. everything on the inside looks great. no real stick out problems, blocks are straight, and clean. everything is put back together, with new gaskets so i guess it wasn't all in vain.

just wanted to say thanks to all the guys who helped me out. truks been an adventure.

Next adventure is gonna be a set of stacks and buckets :)

good to hear on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard would you say that was to do id jsut like to know thanks

a 6 or 7... wasn't really all that hard. more just time consuming. the hardest actual part i found was lining up the head again w/o screwing up the old gasket.

their self adjusting, theres nothing to play with

in my chilton's manual it says they ahve to be dismantled and bled down with a GM tool everytime the rocker arms are removed
